Central Louisiana Area Health Education Center has partnered with the
Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Programs at Camp Beauregard and
Gillis W. Long Center to offer Be Proud! Be Responsible! to YCP cadets.
This program is funded through the Office of Adolescent Health.
Be Proud! Be Responsible! is a six-module curriculum that provides
adolescents with the knowledge, motivation and skills necessary to adapt
behaviors that will reduce their risk of teen pregnancy and exposure to
HIV/AIDS.

Be Proud! Be Responsible! program, we periodically send out surveys
asking for your feedback. If you would like to receive information on

winning Tobacco-free Education Program geared to 5th grade students.
Children learn
about the short and long-term health effects of tobacco use; financial
costs of tobacco use; reasons people use tobacco; effects of secondhand
smoke on children and how tobacco advertisers target kids.
